Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the decision making body of the HKMFTA, with each Board member serving a two-year term.

The 15-person Board includes a President, a Vice President, two General Secretaries and a Treasurer. 

Working Committees

In addition, two Representatives from each of the below Working Committees will also be Board members:

  1. Membership and Ethics;

  2. Development and Public Relations;

  3. Programmes and Training;  

  4. Social Services and Community Education; and

  5. Research and Publications.

 The mandate and members of each Working Committee shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board, consisting of three to seven experienced industry professionals, provides non-binding strategic advice to the Board of Directors and each member of the Advisory Board serves a three-year term.  Advisory Board members shall be nominated by the Board of Directors and/or the Advisory Board itself and each of the Advisory Board and the Board of Directors must approve any appointment to the Advisory Board.
